MCL in the Press! My 500 words of fame with the ITI London Regional Group

Last November, I joined the ITI-LRG (London Regional Group) in the newly created role of Events Liaison and I could not be happier with my decision to contribute, if only a little, to the fantastic work they do.

The ITI-LRG is the London regional branch of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in the UK. The the group’s goal is to foster networking and collaboration among its members, as well as to contribute to their continuous personal development.

If you are a translator or interpreter based in the London area, come visit us! And, even better, join us!

All committee members volunteer their time to help things happen under the direction of the amazing Pamela Mayorcas, the committee’s chairwoman.

I will write in more detail about my role as Events Liaison and all the wonderful things the LRG does in a separate post later on. However, I wanted to share with you the interview that was published in the LRG Newsletter when I ‘took office’.

LRG interview to Maria Cecilia Lipovsek
