Terms & Conditions
No dates are permanently booked until the client approves the quote in writing via e-mail.
Accommodation, airfare, transport, and meals outside of London (zones 1 to 6) are not included in the interpreting fees and shall be either arranged and covered by the Client or billed separately by the MCL, should they apply. The same applies to all and any charges for the use of interpreting equipment or online interpreting platforms.
Both MCL and the Client will take reasonable precautions to ensure that all confidential information, either oral or written, remains confidential.
Payment & Cancellation Policies
Payment shall be made in GBP by transfer to the bank account stated in the corresponding invoice within the timeframe agreed on between the interpreter and the Client, usually 14 calendar days.
All transfer and/or currency exchange charges shall be covered by the Client.
The Client may cancel an interpreting assignment in writing in advance of the commencement of provision of the Service. However, cancellation charges will apply.
Regardless of the notification time, all expenses incurred by MCL (namely but not exclusively, travel and accommodation reservations) shall be reimbursed to MCL in full and in compliance with MCL current payment policy.
These Terms and Conditions and any contracts between MCL and the Client shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
